Tea for Teachers

What better way to honor teachers at the end of the school year than to have a tea party. This party was to say "thank you" for the hard work that four preschool teachers do and to show appreciation for the love they put into their job.

Each guest of honor received a gift basket complete with: tea mug with their initial, "Bitty Blessings" box with tea bags, shower scrub, and loofah. The baskets were wrapped in red cellophane and tied with a big pink bow, complete with name tag.

Additional favors were small white boxes, each holding two different flavors of tea. The boxes were tied with a white satin ribbon.

Strawberry Shortcake

For a Strawberry Shortcake themed birthday party for twin girls, I made a Strawberry Shortcake hat out of vanilla cake, covered in fondant. The hat had Strawberry Shortcake's famous bow, complete with ribbons, with each girls' name. The bottom layer was vanilla cake with a vanilla buttercream frosting.

The favors for this party were "Surprise Birthday Seeds" in a customized seed packet with a poem and names of the birthday girls. The packets were placed in small pots with moss and wrapped up in Strawberry Shortcake fabric, tied with a pink bow.
